Tanya Burr was born in the Eastern US and raised in the Southwest. Her adventurous spirit fuels her imagination and drives her to draw, write and sculpt. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a major in Visual Communications and an emphasis in Illustration, and a minor in Japanese. She has self-published some of her own comics and mini-comics, dabbled in animation, and done artwork for student-created video games, and was an intern at Marvel Comics.

Tanya loves comic books, video games, movies, cartoons, and Japanese culture. That, along with her travels, has influenced her artwork. She currently resides in New York City.
